Investing in the Future
Our mission is to support development of current and next generation young architects for the challenge of creating equitable, sustainable, and life affirming environments today and into the Future.
Our initiatives are designed to connect AIA PA community members, corporate partners, and the eight NAAB Pennsylvania academic institutions through charitable efforts that provide equitable access to education, networking opportunities, and other career-building resources for emerging architects studying in high schools and colleges across the state of Pennsylvania.
The AIA Pennsylvania Architecture Futures Foundation (PAFF) was in 2023. We aspire to become vital and impactful presence and resource in the Pennsylvania Architecture Community with the singular goal of nurturing, educating, and supporting entry into the profession of architecture for all young innovators bent on building a better world
We call on all practices small and large to give and support the development of future generations of architects throughout our public school and NAAB systems, and then attract them to apply their knowledge, vision, and youthful energy to create a better future for all citizens of Pennsylvania.

Program in support of promoting the current generation of young architects helping through the licensure process, supporting the mentoring process of the EPIC Firm certification process, to assure the smooth path from graduate architect to licensed practitioner.

A major goal of PAFF is to instill in young architects an ethic of giving back to their communities as civic leaders, Citizen Architects, and volunteers. PAFF supports funding of initiatives that expand the horizons of young architects while making a difference to underserved communities in our society.
